Xinjia Yang
Xinjia Yang, was born in 1983 in Guangdong province, now living and working in Guangdong/Beijing. His creation involves painting, image, conceptual art. The inspiration of recent works is originally from the exploration of the relationship behind the objects, to collect the form from the layers and folds that constitute the relationship between substance then carry out the visual transformation and relationship restructuring.
In addition to the daily creation state in the studio, it has been a practice mode in recent years for Yang to let the creation experience include the body being in flow, leaving the double restriction of the original time-space and solidified experience, and regenerating the creation in the unfamiliar and local situation. He hopes to form another creative thread by residency and implementing projects elsewhere.
During his residence, the artist plan to use the intersection of literary thinking and visual art production logic to create a "mystery case" -- for these scenes to fabricate the story plot corresponding to the scene where will become the place where the story takes place and exist, and the story plots of different scenes will constitute a mystery story.
Yang will organize the audience to follow the walking routes to visit these places that according to the development of the story, and then in these scenarios to the audience of the story.
